The "Beauty and the Beast" teaser trailer for the live-action retelling of Disney's animated classic debuted on Monday to millions of delighted fans.

Already viewed more than 6.1 million times on YouTube alone, the 90-second trailer shows an obstructed view of Belle, played by actress Emma Watson, near the end the clip. The trailer gives the premiere date for the movie, March 17, 2017, and promotes a unique hashtag, #BeOurGuest.

In the upcoming reboot, Watson reportedly stars opposite of Dan Stevens, who will play the Beast, and appears with an A-list cast that includes Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Kevin Kline, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, and Broadway superstar Audra McDonald.

The live-action version of "Beauty and the Beast" will have a lot to live up to — the 1991 classic holds the distinction of being the first full-length animated movie to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. It went on to win Oscars for Best Song, "Beauty and the Beast," and Best Original Score.

The 1991 animated film also made $424 million worldwide in receipts, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.

Watson, for one, is used to headlining highly anticipated movies having grown up in the "Harry Potter" movies as Hermione Granger.

Her name garnered some negative publicity early this month, however, when she became associated with the infamous "Panama Papers," CNN reported.

Watson reportedly set up an offshore company using Mossack Fonseca, the Panama-based law firm connected with the leak documents, stated CNN. According to the data, Watson created a company called Falling Leaves Ltd in 2013 in the British Virgin Islands, identified by the European Commission as a tax haven.

"Emma [like many high profile individuals] set up an offshore company for the sole purpose of protecting her anonymity and safety," Watson's spokesman Luke Windsor said in a statement to CNN earlier this month.

In any case, the new "Beauty and the Beast" trailer was a hit on social media.
