Barbra Streisand hasn't appeared on NBC's "Tonight Show" since 1963 but she will be on the guest couch on Sept. 15 to promote her upcoming album "Partners," and instead of taking questions from Johnny Carson she will be fielding questions from Jimmy Fallon.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the closest Streisand has come to being on a late night show was when she made a cameo appearance on CBS's "The Late Show with David Letterman" in 1994.

"The booking marks something of a career coming full circle to Streisand," wrote Erik Pedersen of Deadline.com. "The singer-actress-producer has shunned the late-night TV talk show game since appearing with Johnny Carson on 'The Tonight Show' in March 1963 to promote her debut album. She is one of just 16 people to have won an Oscar, Grammy, Tony and Emmy Award."

Streisand's "Partners" includes duets with some of the biggest artists in different genres of music – even Elvis Presley and "Love Me Tender," according to Broadway World.com.

The album, due out Sept. 16, also includes a duet with her son Jason Gould, singing "How Deep Is the Ocean."

Streisand's other duets includes "New York State Of Mind," with Billy Joel; "It Had To Be You," with Michael Buble; "Come Rain Or Come Shine," with John Mayer; "The Way We Were," with Lionel Richie; "What Kind Of Fool," with John Legend; "People," with Stevie Wonder; "I Can Still See Your Face," with Andrea Bocelli, and "Evergreen," with Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, according to Broadway World.com.

Edmonds, who produced the "What Kind Of Fool" collaboration between Streisand and Legend, who had his own No. 1 hit this year with "All of Me," told National Public Radio that the session between the two was "an incredible feeling."

"Their mutual respect was evident from the start," said Edmonds. "When Barbra heard the passion in John's vocal performance, it truly inspired the way she shaped her own vocals. As a record producer, sitting in the studio hearing these two magical voices playing off each other, pouring through the speakers, was an incredible feeling."
