Ashton Kutcher took to Facebook this week to rally people for diaper changing tables in men’s rooms.

Kutcher, 37, and fiancée Mila Kunis, 31, have a 5-month-old daughter, Wyatt.

The “Two and a Half Men” star’s post has drawn widespread attention, receiving about 234,000 likes as of Wednesday afternoon and sparking attention from countless news outlets, including Esquire, USA Today, and People.

The issue has been a hot topic for many dads, Esquire pointed out. Last year, the California state assembly passed a bill to mandate equal access to changing tables in both men’s and women’s rooms, but it was vetoed by Governor Jerry Brown.

Daddy blogger and "Today Parents" contributor Doyin Richards expressed his frustration with the lack of changing tables on Today.com last year.

“That is basically straight up saying only women change diapers — men don’t change diapers. That’s just not acceptable in 2014 and beyond. It’s just not,” he wrote.

Some cities, including Miami, Pittsburgh, and San Francisco, have made strides toward equal access to diaper changing stations.

Some dads have offered up suggestions of places that offer changing stations in men’s room, such as Walmart and Cracker Barrel, and pointed to family restrooms as a possible solution, CNN reported.

Twitter users weighed in on the issue.
