'American Horror Story' Script Stolen: Sheet Said to Contain Spoilers

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" had a script page stolen from its set in New Orleans last week and now the thief is shopping the page around to media outlets.

According to TMZ, one of the actors accidentally left the script page behind after a reading and, though it was only a single sheet, it's said to contain vital information about the FX anthology series.

"As for what's being shopped . . . it's only one page but it is hugely important," the celebrity gossip site reported over the weekend. "Without revealing specifics, we can tell you it involves Pepper the pinhead and a scene that reveals how she ended up in the Briarcliff Manor during Season 2, 'Asylum.'"

A spokesperson for 20th Century Fox TV told TMZ that they were looking into the matter.

"The theft and unauthorized distribution of our scripts is a very serious matter and we will take all appropriate steps necessary to vigorously protect our intellectual property," a representative said in a statement.

Jessica Rawden, of Cinema Blend, doesn't think the script leak will affect diehard fans, as they should already have an idea of where this season is headed.

"This almost sounds like a spoiler without reading the script, but if you've been keeping tabs on casting news, you should already be expecting this plot," Rawden wrote. "A few weeks ago, Lily Rabe was signed on to join 'American Horror Story: Freak Show.'"

"[Co-creator] Ryan Murphy often signs on actors and actresses for more than one season, but what is striking about this casting is who Rabe is set to play. She's signed on to play Sister Mary Eunice, her character from 'Asylum.' When she was cast, we found out Sister Mary Eunice's sole purpose was to get Pepper to Briarcliff, making the connection between the two seasons even stronger."

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" is six episodes into a 13-episode batch and audiences are still waiting on guest appearances from Neil Patrick Harris and husband David Burtka.

Harris will reportedly play salesman in the final two episodes while Burtka will star opposite Jessica Lange, the owner of a carnival freak show set in 1950s Florida.
