Alyssa Milano will not return to "Mistresses" because the show is moving its filming to Canada, and she doesn’t want to uproot her family, the actress announced on her website Tuesday.

The actress made an online statement about her decision.

“After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons,” Milano wrote. “It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under four. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away. I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."

Milano has played Savannah Davis, called Savi, for the first two seasons of the ABC show.

Milano just gave birth to a daughter, and she also has a 3-year-old son with her husband, David Bugliari.

Milano’s decision was met with support from her fans, many of whom said she was the primary reason they watch "Mistresses."

“Good for her! But I will miss the show (why bother watching if she isn't on it?). I am surprised the studio would make such a big move during season three when they are just gaining traction for the show,” one commenter wrote on a People article. “I hope another studio or network will offer her another role that will work better with her life. She is great.”

"It's nice to see after all the yrs in show biz she hasn't changed her values or who she is. She's so cool," another wrote.

After announcing her decision, Milano tweeted about the responses she was getting:
