Al Roker's 34-hour weather report broke a new Guinness World Record on Friday as it came to a close around 8 a.m. He was a bit hoarse, but ultimately overjoyed.

"I don't feel that tired," Roker said as the rest of the hosts stormed his set to congratulate him, Today.com reported. He then thanked his entire team — many by name — as well as all of his fans and even Mother Nature.

"I've done this once," he croaked. "That's it."

Over the course of the marathon weathercast, Roker welcomed several guests, including his wife, Deborah Roberts, ventriloquist and comedian Jeff Dunham, and "Homeland" and "The Blacklist" actor Diego Klattenhoff.

One memorable, unscripted moment that generated a lot of buzz was when Roker took his first sanctioned bathroom break. He and his producers left his microphone on, so the whole world was treated to the sound of Roker relieving himself at the urinal.

Realizing what happened when he returned to the set, he took it in stride, and even thought of a clever joke on the spot: "Live-stream has a new meaning."

The 34-hour feat sought to raise money for the armed forces and United States Service Organizations through Roker's official Crowdrise page, and was also timed to coincide with Guinness World Records Day, "an international celebration of record breaking taking place across the globe November 13."

Throughout the epic weather report, fans used the hashtag "#Rokerthon" to comment and cheer on America's weatherman, and a few highlights are gathered below.
