Wisconsin finished its presidential vote recount Monday — and Republican President-elect Donald Trump won by 571 more votes.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, 2,000 more votes were counted, which was 0.06 percent of the 2.975 million votes cast.

Trump added 1,284 votes, while Democrat Hillary Clinton got 713 more votes. That gave Trump a statewide total of 22,748 votes.

The recount was triggered by Green Party candidate Jill Stein, who finished a distant fourth in Wisconsin. Stein insisted the recount was for purposes of electoral integrity and not an attempted to flip the election to Clinton.

Stein got 66 more votes after the recount.

The only requirement for a recount in Wisconsin is for the person requesting it to pay the $35,000 to cover the cost.

Wisconsin Elections Commission Chairman Mark Thomsen said the state normally spends $30,000 after an election to spot-check the system's integrity, and Stein essentially gave them a free audit of the system.

"Based on the recount, they can have confidence that Wisconsin's election results accurately reflect the will of the people, regardless of whether they are counted by hand or by machine," Thomsen said.

"I’m personally very happy it was done," he said. "Because not only Wisconsin but the world knows that our system has integrity."

WEC board member Don Nellis called Stein's recount "an abuse of the system."

Stein filed for recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania as well.

A federal judge ended the effort in Michigan last week. Stein was forced to drop her effort in Pennsylvania for lack of funds.
