NRSC Parody Website Accuses Obama of Selling Access

A new parody website being launched Thursday by the National Republican Senatorial Committee slams President Barack Obama for allowing a nonprofit organization to sell access directly to him.

According to Politico
, the NRSC plans to launch WhiteHouseVIP.com, which will feature videos, an online petition, and other items that take aim at Organizing for Action, an extension of Obama’s presidential campaign apparatus that was created to promote his agenda. The group reportedly has been soliciting donations, promising that donors would have access to the president.

WhitehouseVIP.com is designed to vaguely resemble the official White House government website to help draw attention to what the NRSC claims is nothing short of the selling of the presidency.

NRSC spokesman Brad Dayspring told Politico that Obama allows special interests to take advantage of the people.

“Whether it’s President Obama trying to disguise his political campaign operation as a tax-free, nonpartisan organization or senators like Bob Menendez working to get his biggest donors special treatment, the people have had enough,” NRSC spokesman Brad Dayspring told Politico.

The NRSC also plans to ask Democratic senators and candidates to call on the president to shut down Organizing for Action.

The NRSC is not the first to raise questions about the organization. The liberal public advocacy group Common Cause has also called on the president to shut down its operations.
