A political fireworks show is headed to the Midwest as Donald Trump and Sarah Palin prepare to both speak at a conservative conference this weekend in Denver, Colorado.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee, and the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential running mate of John McCain, will take the stage at the Western Conservative Summit.

The three-day conference from Friday to Sunday costs from $120-$600 a head and is billed as the "largest gathering of conservatives" outside of Washington, D.C. The organizers say the goal of the event is to "advance faith, family, and freedom."

Palin and Trump — both known for their outspoken in-your-face opinions — joined forces early on as she eagerly endorsed the billionaire real-estate tycoon for president.

Aside from them, other conservative speakers will include Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse, radio host Hugh Hewitt and Tea Party Patriots co-founder Jenny Beth Martin, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson and Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas.

The lineup is expected to be mostly pro-Trump with the exception of Sasse, who has strongly criticized Trump — as well as Hillary Clinton — and promoted the idea of a third-party candidate emerging at the Republican National Convention.

"With Clinton and Trump, the fix is in. Heads, they win; tails, you lose. Why are we confined to these two terrible options? This is America. If both choices stink, we reject them and go bigger," Sasse wrote last month on Facebook.

It's not known if Sasse and Trump will lock horns at the convention.
