Trump: I'll Be Doing America a Favor By Chasing Some Celebrities Out

"Girls" star Lena Dunham on Monday threatened to join the growing list of celebrities who plan to move to Canada if Donald Trump is elected, but the GOP front-runner said Tuesday he'll be doing the country a favor by chasing some of the celebrities out with his election — especially when it comes to his long-time nemesis, Rosie O'Donnell.

"Well, she's a B-actor," Trump told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program about Dunham. "She has no mojo. I heard Whoopi Goldberg too. That would be a great thing for our country."

On Monday, reports The Hill, Dunham told Andy Cohen during the Matrix Awards that she knows "a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will. I know a lovely place in Vancouver, and I can get my work done from there."

Dunham is a prominent supporter of Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton's campaign, and has made several appearances with Clinton on the campaign trail.

But when the Fox program posted a list of celebrities who have threatened to leave the country over a Trump presidency, including Rosie O'Donnell, Al Sharpton, Samuel L. Jackson, and Cher, in addition to Dunham and Goldberg, Trump perked up the most over O'Donnell.

"We get rid of Rosie?" he said. "Now I have to get elected, I have to get elected because I'll be doing a great service to our country. Now it's much more important. In fact, I'll immediately get off this call and start campaigning right now."
