The Supreme Court reverses the decisions of eight out of 10 cases that reach it from the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, according to an analysis by The Daily Caller

The 9th Circuit ruled Thursday against reinstating President Donald Trump's travel ban against seven countries.

The American Bar Association in 2010 found the rate to be the second-highest of the 13 appellate courts that are below the Supreme Court.

"No one familiar with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals should be surprised at today's ruling," South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy said.

Trump said he would appeal the ruling to the high court, during a post on Twitter:

The Federal Circuit has the highest reversal rate at 83.33 percent, and the Seventh Circuit has the lowest at 55.26 percent, according to the American Bar Association report.

Attorney Alan Dershowitz predicted on Newsmax TV that Trump would win the appeal to the Supreme Court.

"I do not believe that this order constitutes a violation of the establishment clause of the Constitution," Dershowitz, a Harvard Law School professor emeritus, said.
