Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone is a huge supporter of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, but he has nothing but kind words for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who announced Tuesday he is considering a run.

"I think this is very healthy," Langone said Tuesday on Fox News' "Your World" show hosted by Neil Cavuto. "If we get people of the caliber of Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney and Ben Carson and Chris Christie I have complete confidence that the debates will be all about issues, that there won’t be personal attacks."

Langone said he doesn’t think tea party Sens. Ted Cruz or Rand Paul can win a general election, even though Paul has shown well in several polls.

"In the last campaign, one time Cain was the leader, Bachmann was the leader," Langone said.

Cavuto pointed out that the conservative wing of the party calls most of the men Langone cited as having a chance Republicans in Name Only, or RINOs.

"I guess I'm a RINO too, then," Langone said.

He told Cavuto he is a Christie fan because, "he tells it like it is."

Also, he said, Christie got 52 percent of the Latino vote in his last election, and 51 percent of the women’s vote while running against a woman. He also tripled his support among black voters.

But if Christie doesn’t get the nomination, Bush, Romney or Carson all would make good presidents, he said.

In the meantime, Langone said he will continue trying to raise funds for a Christie campaign.

"I’m gonna shake people’s ankles till there’s not a nickel left in their pockets," he said.
