GOP presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan will meet next week to talk out their differences, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said in an interview set to air on Fox News Channel Thursday night.

According to Bloomberg.com, Priebus told Fox host Sean Hannity that "both committed to sitting down and actually talking this out" after Ryan went on CNN earlier in the day to say he is not yet ready to back Trump as the nominee.

"I think it’s going to work out, but in some cases people are not going to be instantly on board and I know that can be frustrating for some people," Priebus said. "I think everyone has to let a little bit of the steam to get out and get everyone to settle down."

Ryan told CNN's Jake Tapper, "I hope to support our nominee," but, "At this point, I'm just not there right now."

Trump fired back in a short statement to the press, saying, "I am not ready to support Speaker Ryan's agenda. Perhaps in the future we can work together and come to an agreement about what is best for the American people."
