President Donald Trump's approval rating dropped 3 points to 41 percent, according to the latest results from Rasmussen Reports' daily tracking poll.

Trump started the week at 44 percent approval, according to Rasmussen.

Other results from likely voters, according to the survey:

  • 59 percent overall disapprove of Trump's performance.
  • 67 percent of Republicans approve of Trump's performance.
  • 60 percent of non-affiliated voters disapprove.
  • 82 percent of Democrats disapprove.

Further, Rasmussen reports Trump's Presidential Approval Index rating is -23; 25 percent strongly approve of his performance vs. 48 percent who strongly disapprove.

Daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters per night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 1,500 likely voters is plus or minus 2.5 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence.
