A majority of voters believe President Donald Trump's administration is in chaos, according to a Politico/Morning Consult poll.

The results:

  • 60 percent said the administration is running somewhat chaotically or very chaotically, while 33 percent said it is running well.
  • 39 percent said Trump's staff does not serve him well, compared to 29 percent who say otherwise.
  • 63 percent of Republicans said the White House is running well, compared to 34 percent who think it is in chaos.
  • 12 percent of Democrats said the White House is running well, while 80 percent said it is not.
  • 25 percent of independents said the White House is running well, compared to 65 percent who said it is in chaos.

Trump took to Twitter early Monday to proclaim there is no chaos in the White House.

The poll surveyed 1,972 registered voters with a margin of error of 2 percentage points, and was conducted Thursday through Saturday before the firing of Anthony Scaramucci from the White House communications director position.
