One thing New York primary voters in both parties had in common Tuesday was a lack of concern for voting for the candidate they most think can win the presidency, according to exit polls released by Fox News.

Here are the top candidate qualities listed by Republicans:
  • Can bring change: 35 percent
  • Shares my values: 28 percent
  • Tells it like it is: 26 percent
  • Can win in November: 8 percent
And by Democrats:
  • Right experience: 32 percent
  • Honest/trustworthy: 29 percent
  • Cares about me: 25 percent
  • Can win in November: 11 percent
There was strong anti-federal government feeling among Republicans:
  • Negative: 83 percent
  • Positive: 17 percent
And Democrats' most important issues:
  • Economy/jobs: 35 percent
  • Income inequality: 28 percent
  • Healthcare: 20 percent
  • Terrorism: 14 percent
