Scott Brown: Mark Cuban Could 'Balance' TV Experience for Hillary

If Hillary Clinton added businessman and investor Mark Cuban to her campaign ticket, it could "balance off TV experience," former Sen. Scott Brown said Monday, but noted that the reality TV star has said himself that the former secretary of state is too far left of center.

"I know Mark," the Massachusetts Republican, who solidly endorses Trump's campaign, told Fox Business Network's Maria Bartiromo on "Mornings with Maria." "We were with him at the SALT Conference together."

Cuban "is not a big Donald Trump fan," said Brown, and "obviously, running for political office somebody like that who hasn't been vetted there's a lot of potential scrutiny that's going to come out. You don't realize how intense it is until you're actually there doing it. He would make obviously a good choice, but he said it himself she's too far left. She's got to come back to the center."

Further, said Brown, Cuban "is not a liberal and not an environmentalist liberal, so it would be an interesting balance."

Brown does not think Clinton's challenger, Bernie Sanders will sign on, and said Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who defeated Brown for the Senate seat, has complained that Clinton is "basically embraced by Wall Street."

A Clinton-Sanders ticket "makes a lot of sense," said Brown, but at the same time, "I worked with him for three years, and no one liked him in the Senate. He didn't like anybody in the Senate either. He was kind of a lone wolf. He was there forever, a career politician."

Meanwhile, Brown, also appearing on Fox News' "America's Newsroom," said Trump's campaign is unifying the Republican Party, while Democrats are no longer "JFK's party anymore or Bill Clinton's party. It is a party of Moveon.org and radical environmentalists."

He also said Clinton's contention over the weekend that Trump has no ideas to make America great again is "laughable."

"He talked about immigration, border security, our standing in the world, dealing with ISIS, building up our military, renegotiating contracts, the Iran deal," said Brown. "I could go on and on versus Hillary Clinton going so far left to keep up with socialist Bernie Sanders. She is in trouble and everybody knows it."
