President Trump on Thursday reiterated his administration's position on Iran, tweeting that Iran "has been formally put on notice" after its ballistic missile test earlier this week.

Trump also criticized the Obama administration for throwing Iran a "life-line" in the form of $150 billion in cash.

National security adviser Michael Flynn on Wednesday said Iran had been put on notice, telling reporters that the administration "condemns such actions by Iran that undermine security, prosperity and stability throughout and beyond the Middle East that puts American lives at risk."

Iran reportedly conducted a test Sunday in violation of a United Nations resolution, though the country refused to confirm that it had done so.
