It is not clear if any of the several thousand work-related emails discovered by the FBI after being deleted from Hillary Clinton's private server will be made available for voters to see by election day, The Hill reports.

The revelation comes the day after critics raised more concerns after another batch of the Democratic candidate's emails were released to the public,

Many Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and lawsuits have been filed to recover the emails discovered by the FBI, which was part of the some 30,000 that Clinton and her aides deleted during the year-long investigation into her e-mail setup.

Last week, the FBI sent the last batch of these emails to the State Department, which now must go through them to remove any information that is exempt from public disclosure. The State Department, however, has not promised a schedule for their release, The Hill reports, and a federal judge has yet to determine when they should be made public, with the presidential election less than just three months away.

As Hot Air points out, the previous time the State Department was given deadlines on releasing emails last winter, officials cited various logistical difficulties to extend the time before they gave the emails to the public.

Those original email releases took longer than the time that now remains before Election Day.

If indeed the release of these emails is delayed until after the elections, The Hill noted that the entire episode could play into the hands of Republican nominee Donald Trump, even if Clinton is sparred further embarrassing revelations. That's because any Trump allegations of a cover-up would have a sympathetic hearing in at least part of the public, especially after he has already warned that the election might be rigged against him.

This all comes after a new batch of State Department emails released Tuesday illustrated the overlapping interests between the Clinton Foundation and the Hillary Clinton-run State Department, according to The New York Times.

The paper said the just released emails raise additional questions about charges that the Clinton Foundation unfairly rewarded its donors with influence at the State Department, something Clinton has always denied.
