Hillary Clinton took a trip to the site of the Republican National Convention on Wednesday for a quick visit with music legend Paul McCartney.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Clinton spent 30 minutes with the former Beatle at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. McCartney is playing at the venue for two nights this week.

"They talked about the race, their families, and the Olympics, among other topics," a Clinton campaign aide told The Journal.

The pair was also seen together at the 2010 Kennedy Center Honors, where McCartney and four others received an award.

Clinton was in Cleveland for a campaign rally at John Marshall High School, WKYC reported. She was due to attend a fundraiser Wednesday evening.
