New Gingrich Ad: Support Me to Correct 80-Year Drift to Left

Newt Gingrich’s new Web commercial, titled “The Decision,” labels 2012 as “the most important election in this country since 1860” and implores voters to support him to advance bold solutions the country needs.

The ad advances the argument, as the former House speaker did during his speech at the Conservative Action Political Conference in Washington, D.C., that the country’s future is at stake in the presidential election.

The election pivots on “whether the disastrous policies of class-warfare, bureaucratic socialism, radical judges, and bureaucrats who treat us as subjects rather than citizens will be continued in office,” Gingrich says in the video.

“Or whether we will decisively repudiate an 80-year drift to the left: a drift in our newsrooms, a drift in our colleges and universities, a drift with our judges, and a drift among elected politicians.”
