Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani will lead a group formed to push President Donald Trump’s agenda, Politico reports.

The two will be co-chairs on the political nonprofit group Great America Alliance, a pro-Trump nonprofit group.

"My interest is in communicating the things that he wants to get done," said Gingrich, the former House Speaker.

"Winning the election is one thing. Getting the agenda through is a second thing, and we can already see that there are going to be obstacles in the way," former New York City Mayor Giuliani said in a recent Politico story about the effort. "There's got to be something here to back up what Donald Trump wants to achieve because if you look at a list of what he wants to achieve, Democrats are going to fight — and on some of them, they're going to fight to the death."

Eric Beach, a Republican strategist, will also help run Great America Alliance along with strategist Ed Rollins.

"Our organization will aggressively promote President Trump’s agenda and help make sure the promises made to the American people during the campaign are kept by Congress," Beach said in a memo. "This will be our top priority and we will oppose all efforts to obstruct these goals, regardless of partisanship."

Beach’s plan to promote Trump’s agenda includes spending around $80 million on anticipated policy battles in 2017. In a memo, he also said the group could pressure GOP members who opposed Trump’s plans.
