Donald Trump, Jr. took a quick break from his father's turbulent presidential campaign to crow about his 4-year-old son's impressive swimming abilities.

The father of five posted an adorable video on Facebook of his blond-haired son Tristan Milos Trump, grandson of Donald Trump, who's done so well with his swimming lessons that he's thrown away the life preserver and can now tread water on his own.

In the video, Tristan is seen in blue swimming trunks and a pair of eye goggles with a nose guard. The blond-haired youngster deftly pushes off the floor of a pool and kicks his legs as he glides across the surface of the water.

Little Tristan is oblivious to the turmoil surrounding his granddad's run for the White House. Hillary Clinton has pushed ahead in the polls this week following the billionaire real-estate tycoon's controversial fight with the family of a slain Muslim-American soldier,

Trump, 38, is married to Vanessa Haydon, a former model who appeared in the PG-13 movie "Something's Gotta Give," starring Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. Besides Tristan, the couple are parents to Kai Madison, Chloe Sophia, Donald III, and Spencer Frederick.

Trump and his siblings Eric, Ivanka and half-sister Tiffany, have been instrumental in helping promote their dad, the Republican presidential nominee, as he campaigns across the country.
