Former staffers of Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders have been tapped to lead the charge on the relaunch of the big-money liberal super PAC, Priorities USA Action, Politico reports.

Priorities, the main PAC supporting Clinton's failed presidential bid, is looking to reposition itself as a public affairs nuisance to Donald Trump's presidency.

"Many organizations will be in the day-to-day fight against Trump and the Republicans, developing war rooms and large communications operations," Guy Cecil, chief strategist for the group, told Politico.

"Priorities USA is already partnering with many of these efforts and will deploy our resources at every level to fight back every day."

The new Priorities USA lineup, according to Politico:

  • Cecil, chief strategist.
  • Patrick McHugh, promoted to executive director.
  • Brian Fallon, Clinton's national press secretary, will be consultant/senior adviser.
  • Symone Sanders, Sanders' national press secretary, will be strategist for communications and political outreach.
  • Anne Caprara, demoted from executive director to senior adviser.
  • Kim Kauffman, financial operations chief.

Priorities raised the most money ever by a super PAC — $175 million — in support of Clinton.
