Congressman Paul Ryan accused the Obama Administration of not doing enough to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon and underestimating the Iranian leadership’s goal of “wiping Israel off the face of the planet.”
The administration has watered down sanctions against Iran, as well as not working with Israel in defending that nation, Ryan said.
This, he said, was in addition to apologizing for American values overseas and potentially dangerous policies in how the United States Armed Forces will pull out of Afghanistan.

Defending the Obama Administration, Vice President Joe Biden said President Obama has met with Benjamin Netanyahu 12 times and talks on the phone regularly, and has pressed Iran with the hardest sanctions in history, contrary to what Ryan said.
Biden added that while Iran has enriched uranium, the need to enrich it further, need more of it, and then must develop a way to launch it at Israel - which both the U.S. and Israel would be able to see, if it were happening.
