The son of President Ronald Reagan tells Newsmax TV that both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton too often mention his father President Ronald Reagan as they try to score political points — and he doesn't like it.

"It bothers me on both sides keep on dropping my father's name like they knew him very well," political commentator Michael Reagan said Friday on "The Steve Malzberg Show." "[Its like] they were at the dinner table and Christmas with us and none of them were."

Reagan was also dismissive of comparisons between Trump's immigration battle cry of "let's build a wall" between the U.S. and Mexico to Ronald Reagan's famous 1987 plea to then Soviet Union leader Mikhail Gorbachev to "tear down this wall" between East and West Germany.
