Noah Rothman: Obama Won't Back Down on Immigration

There's going to be no backing down by President Barack Obama on his plans to use executive power to grant immunity to millions of illegal immigrants, says Noah Rothman, associate editor for media watchdog HotAir.com.

"I have every reason to believe that he's going to move forward with an immigration order. He really can't back down at this stage, but he hasn't done anything," Rothman said Monday on "the Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"We're not at any crisis constitutional point yet. At the same time, the news cycle has become so whipped up into this frenzy over an anticipated action that the president is going to deliver.

"I suspect he's enjoying this quite a lot because it confers a lot of authority to the president that he was robbed of on Nov. 4."
