Judicial Watch's Farrell: Justice Dept. Looks 'Like Liars'

By    |   Thursday, 06 Nov 2014 12:16 PM

Chris Farrell, Judicial Watch’s director of research and investigations, tells "America’s Forum" on Newsmax TV Thursday that the government watchdog organization forced the hand of the Justice Department to turn over documents it wanted to keep secret in the Fast and Furious investigation.

"Judicial Watch obtained the first batch of documents previously withheld under executive privilege in a form of a von index, which is a 15,000 thousand long document listing all the items that Holder Justice Department wanted to keep secret so we pried that out of him," Farrell said. "It really laid the groundwork for this later release to the congressional committee. It's enormously damaging to the Justice Department. They look like liars."
