Hillary Clinton "really needs to be honest and come clean" about her health issues "otherwise she's going to continue to lose ground" with voters, pollster John Zogby told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.

"The problem here is that it also reflects judgment as well," Zogby told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth. "Not listening to a doctor.

"Look, pneumonia is pneumonia. There are various strains of it — but we know the word, and those of us who've had it know what it means.

"Initially, she was playing with her grandchildren for an hour and a half," he continued. "Not when you have pneumonia my friend and then going out and kissing a 5-year-old girl.

"These are questions of judgment. These are questions of putting just sheer craven lust for power ahead of good judgment and honesty."

Zogby earlier told "The Steve Malzberg Show" that Clinton's candor with voters must be of paramount concern at this juncture.

"If she asks the American people for time that may be all right," he said. "She's losing ground in the polls.

"She's going to have to reassure her own supporters before she can even move on to try to grow her base."
