John F. Kennedy Jr., the ruggedly handsome son of the nation's 35th president, was usually seen more than heard during his short, storied life, with his memories of his father and family all but forgotten — until now.

Newsmax TV is proud to present a rare, in-depth interview with "John-John" Kennedy that was conducted on June 2, 1997, just two years before his tragic death at the age of 38.

"Kennedy Legacy: A Conversation With JFK Jr." will air Sunday, May 28 at 2 p.m./ET only on Newsmax TV, America's No. 1 source for news and information.

Kennedy Jr. was infinitely more handsome than his father, but far more quiet. He shied away from politics, instead becoming an assistant district attorney in New York City. He also tried his hand at publishing, launching the glossy monthly "George" magazine.

But he was endlessly adored by the public, who remembered his famous salute as a little boy in 1963 when his father's coffin passed by.

Kennedy Jr., would tragically perish, along with his wife, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, and her elder sister Lauren, as he piloted a small plane over stormy seas on July 16, 1999.

In the interview, Kennedy candidly talks about his father's legacy as well as offering glimpses into his own life, giving a rare, behind-the-scenes into the Kennedy dynasty.

"Kennedy Legacy: A Conservation With JFK Jr."adds to the diverse programming featured on Newsmax TV, America's fast-growing news and information channel, carried in more than 40 million U.S. satellite and cable homes.

With compelling original shows such as "The JD Hayworth Show, "The Howie Carr Show," "The Joe Pags Show," and "America Talks Live," Newsmax TV has become the nation's must-watch news, lifestyle and information channel.
