Robert Rabil: Sectarian Violence Is Spilling Into Jerusalem

By    |   Wednesday, 19 Nov 2014 11:12 AM

A "threat of uncertainty" looms as to how the Israelis will respond to the deadly attack by two Palestinians on worshippers this week at a Jerusalem synagogue,  Robert Rabil, a Middle East expert, said Wednesday on Newsmax TV's "America’s Forum."

"The Palestinians, they see that they are going nowhere, the Israelis are extremely now upset with what's happening, you have a series of terror attacks against them … and this is why I say really it's essential now that cool minds prevail. Security has to be beefed up, but at the same time certain measures, certain important measures, have to be taken by the Israelis and by the Palestinians as well," said Rabil, a professor of Middle East studies at Florida Atlantic University.
