Newsmax TV Presents the Definitive Story of 9/11's Greatest Hoaxer

Wednesday, 04 Nov 2015 10:26 AM

Of all of the despicable scams ever devised, Tania Head's jaw-dropping deception may have been the worst.

And now, Newsmax TV brings you the mind-blowing story how Head claimed to be a survivor of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center — only to be unmasked six years later as a fraud.

"The 9/11 Faker" airs Saturday, Nov. 7 at 11p.m./ET, only on Newsmax TV, your No. 1 source for breaking news and hard-hitting opinion.

Tania Head — real name: Alicia Esteve Head — claimed she had barely escaped from her job at Merrill Lynch in one of the burning Twin Towers and had lost her fianc√© in the other building.

She even became president of the World Trade Center Survivors' Network support group and was regularly mentioned in media reports of the attacks.

But six years later, Head's dramatic tale of survival was revealed to be a complete hoax — as it turned out Head, a native of Spain, had not even been in the United States during the horrific attacks. Rather, she had been attending classes in Barcelona.

Once unmasked, Head allegedly disappeared, but apparently resurfaced in 2010 at a 9/11 memorial, this time in the role of Ester DiNardo, a supposed victim's mother.

What caused Head to stage such an appalling, unfeeling hoax? And how did she manage to pull it off for so long?

Find out the fascinating back story in "The 9/11 Faker," narrated by British actor Mark Strong of the movies "Zero Dark Thirty" and "The Imitation Game."
