Students of Trump University were pressured by teachers to give them good reviews, The New York Times reports.

In numerous interviews conducted by The Times, former students said they were pleaded or hounded to be positive in their evaluations.

Jeffrey Tufenkian, who was enrolled in the "Trump Gold Elite" program, told the newspaper his mentor "said something like, 'I won't leave until you give me all 5s.' When it was time to fill the evaluation out, he put it in front of me — right between the two of us on the table — and reiterated that he expected all 5s while he watched me."

Trump's reps deny the accusations.

The billionaire developer and Republican presidential front-runner is now fighting a lawsuit over fraud claims involving the validity of Trump University's real estate investment seminars.

New York Attorney Gen. Eric Schneiderman, who spearheaded the lawsuit, has called the now-defunct school a "bait-and-switch scheme," because it promised to teach students Donald Trump's real estate secrets although Trump never had any part in writing the curriculum.
