President Donald Trump kept up his recent barrage of harsh criticism against the media with another tweet bashing the press on Sunday.

The tweet included a video of Trump's speech at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., where he emphasized similar themes.

The president's latest tweet came just several hours after he sent another one of a video clip in which he takes down and attacks someone with a CNN logo over his face during a mock wrestling match.

The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press condemned that video, saying it "glorified physical violence against members of the press."

"This tweet is beneath the office of the presidency. Sadly, it is not beneath this president," the organization's executive director Bruce Brown said in the statement.

"Journalists perform a critical function in our society, one the Founding Fathers felt was so necessary that they enshrined it first in the Bill of Rights," the statement pointed out. "The press are the people's window into the halls of power, and most importantly, they are the people's check on that power. When the president attacks the press, he attacks the people."
