Mike Huckabee and a roster of top political experts joined Newsmax TV Saturday morning live from Miami to discuss one of the most critical primaries of the campaign — in a special being rebroadcast twice this weekend.

In Newsmax TV's "Battleground Florida" show anchors J.D. Hayworth, Miranda Khan and John Bachman broadcast from the world-famous Versailles Restaurant in the heart of Miami's Little Havana – the epicenter of the South Florida political scene.

The special is being broadcast on 4 p.m. Sunday. It lasts 3 hours.

The Huckabee interview will re-air Monday at 8 p.m. ET on "Newsmax Prime."

Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, a Florida resident, will join the Newsmax team to give his take on Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich.

Huckabee was joined by a prestigious array of political figures, local and state leaders, community activists, journalists and commentators to lend their keen insight into this pivotal primary:
  • Rep. Mia Love
  • Miami Mayor Thomas Regalado
  • Doral's first mayor,  J.C. Bermudez
  • Former CIA operative Felix Rodriguez, who participated in the historic manhunt to capture Ernesto "Che" Guevara
  • Marco Antonio Ramos, Sr. associate at the Institute of Cuban and Cuban American studies at University of Miami
  • Radio host and Reagan adviser Carlos Perez
  • Political Activist Tony Cotarelo
  • News reporter Carlos D. Santana from WWFE, La Poderosa
  • Political commentator Raul Mas
  • Republican activist Javier Manjarres
  • Award-winning Bilingual Journalist Helen Aguirre
  • Conservative Radio Host Joyce Kaufman

There's no better place to take the temperature of the race than the Versailles Restaurant, the first place Florida's top politicians visit to garner support from the Cuban-American community, and where the media flock for the latest tremors and talk on social and political issues.

With 99 delegates up for grabs, Florida Senator Marco Rubio is waging a life-or-death battle for political survival in his home state against front-runner Donald Trump, Sen Ted Cruz of Texas and Gov John Kasich of Ohio.

Hayworth, Bachman, Khan and a Who's Who of top political analysts spoke with members of the community, and local and state political leaders about the election and who they are voting for.

When: "Battleground Florida" will re-air Saturday at 3 pm ET and again on Sunday at 4 pm ET.
