Fisticuffs broke out at Mar-a-Lago over the Independence Day weekend when a 27-year-old woman allegedly crashed through the bushes at President Donald Trump's country club and fought with police officers.

The melee broke out after the woman was spotted standing in the middle of South Ocean Boulevard and then jumped into the bushes on the Mar-a-Lago property and hid under a ramp leading to the shorefront, The Palm Beach Daily News reported.

Next, according to a police report obtained by the Daily News, the woman jumped into the ocean, and when finally pulled out resisted handcuffs, kicked officers and attempted to bite one cop. Police said she smelled of alcohol.

The woman, identified as Courtney Elizabeth Equi, 27, of Lake Park, was charged with resisting officers with violence, loitering and prowling, according to police. She was released on a $3,000 bond.
