Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Thursday its biggest anti-gang operation ever –  a six-week nationwide operation – concluded with more than 1,300 arrests.

The focus was not exclusively on immigrants: Of the 1,378 total arrested, 933 were U.S. citizens and 445 were foreign nationals, ICE reported.

According to ICE, 280 arrests were soley immigration-related.

ICE said three people rounded up in the raids were previous recipients of protected status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program started by the Obama administration for illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children.

Criminal violations or being deemed a public safety threat can void a person's DACA status, ICE noted.

The agency also announced 10 of the arrests were of people who crossed the border as unaccompanied minors, eight of whom confirmed members of the notorious MS-13 gang.

Of the total arrested, ICE reported 1,095 were confirmed to be gang members or affiliates of a gang – including 137 Bloods, 118 with the Sureños, 104 with MS-13, and 104 with the Crips.

The raids took place primarily in the Houston, New York, Atlanta, and Newark, N.J., areas, the agency said.
