Hillary Clinton announced a new political action committee on Monday that will encourage people to become politically involved, organize and run for office.

Onward Together's website features Clinton's quote: "Resist, insist, persist, enlist" as well as donation and mission pages.

The mission page notes the 66 million votes she received as the Democratic presidential nominee, though she ended up losing the Electoral College vote to Republican Donald Trump.

"By encouraging people to organize, get involved, and run for office, Onward Together will advance progressive values and work to build a brighter future for generations to come," the website says. "In recent months, we've seen what's possible when people come together to resist bullying, hate, falsehoods, and divisiveness, and stand up for a fairer, more inclusive America."

The PAC says it hopes to maintain the energy of the anti-Trump Women's March and airport protests of Trump's immigration order throughout the year and into the 2018 midterm elections and the 2020 presidential vote.

Onward Together was reported on earlier this month, though it was speculated it could have been officially launched last week.
