State Department officials discovered that Hillary Clinton was using a personal email account in June of 2013, one year earlier than had previously been reported, according to the Daily Caller.

That detail was part of the inspector general report released Wednesday.

Matt Wolking, press secretary for the House Select Committee on Benghazi, told the Daily Caller that the discovery "raises very serious questions about the Obama administration's lack of cooperation" with Congress.

The committee has been investigating the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on Benghazi that resulted in the death of four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

Committee chairman Trey Gowdy on Wednesday accused the Obama administration of causing delays that amounted to more than 10,000 days, while Democrats have accused Gowdy and the committee of prolonging its investigation.

However, Wolking implied that if the State Department had turned over its discovery — and with it, likely a treasure trove of information from Clinton's emails regarding the Benghazi attacks — back in June of 2013, the committee's investigation would be complete by now, the Daily Caller reported.
