The United Nations will be looking a lot different in the future if Nikki Haley, the new U.S. ambassador to the UN, has her way.

Haley, the former governor of South Carolina governor, said Friday she wants to overhaul the international organization founded in 1945 and made up of 193 member states, The Daily Beast reports.

And she's ready to fight any friction that occurs when she launches her plan.

"For those that don't have our back, we're taking names, we will make points to respond to that accordingly," Haley said.

"Our goal with the administration is to show value at the UN and the way that we'll show value is to show our strength, show our voice, have the backs of our allies and make sure that our allies have our back as well."

Haley, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, replaces Samantha Power who held the position since 2013.
