Among the 18 Guantanamo Bay prisoners President Barack Obama is poised to release prior to leaving office, three of them have threatened to kill — or behead — Americans and even Obama himself, the Daily Mail reported.

Muieen Abdal Sattar is one such Gitmo prisoner who threatened to behead a guard and has preached about killing American infidels, including children.

Tawfiq al Bihani has threatened to kill Obama and American citizens if ever released, and Jabran al Qahtani, too, has promised to kill Americans if ever released, according to the Daily Mail.

All three have been detained at Gitmo since at least 2002 and are set to be freed by Obama before Jan. 20, the day President-elect Donald Trump gets sworn into office.

By the time he leaves office, Obama will have freed 22 of the remaining 59 fanatical terrorists imprisoned at Gitmo to start the year.

Of those 22, four were released Thursday, including one who took part in the murder of a CIA operative in Afghanistan in 2001, according to the Daily Mail.

The likelihood that the prisoners set to be released will return to terror activities is high:

According to the Daily Mail, four senior leaders of al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula are former Gitmo prisoners who orchestrated the Charlie Hebdo massacre and the attempted underwear bombing on Christmas day 2009.
