Conservative talk radio host Glenn Beck is offering to help Republicans solve their presidential debate problem by moderating one himself.

Beck first made the suggestion Monday in response to a tweet by candidate Carly Fiorina.

Fiorina was open to Beck's suggestion and tagged RNC Chairman Reince Priebus in her response.

As of Monday afternoon Priebus had not publicly responded, but then, the candidates themselves agreed on Sunday not to include the RNC in its debate negotiations anyway.

Many of the Republican candidates and the RNC expressed disdain after last week's CNBC debate that they said focused on pitting candidates against each other rather than on the economy as promised.

Meanwhile, Beck took to his radio show to discuss the idea further, saying that every one he's interviewed have told him he was the fairest interview they have done.

"That's because I'm not trying to play gotcha," he said.

Beck and Trump have gone back and forth already online this year, but Beck believes he has a question he could ask Trump that isn't a gotcha.

"Can you tell me the difference between a constitutional and a progressive president? Yes or no? And what is that difference? Would you consider yourself a constitutional or progressive Republican?"

Trump could define the terms himself and voters could decide whether they agreed with him, Beck said.
