GOP front-runner Donald Trump Monday lambasted Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, calling her a "highly neurotic woman" who made Hillary Clinton's first debate this election cycle easier on her.

"This is a woman that is a terrible person," Trump told Breitbart News about the DNC chairwoman and Florida representative during an interview on its new SiriusXM station interview Monday morning, reports Breitbart.

He also called the lawmaker "crazy."

He told the show that Wasserman Schultz is supporting Clinton's campaign, echoing critics who have accused the DNC chairwoman of limiting how many debates are being held in order to give Clinton an advantage over the two remaining Democratic candidates, former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

"In all fairness, she negotiated a great deal for Hillary (Clinton) because they gave Hillary all softballs," Trump said about the questions the former secretary of state was asked by CNN moderator Anderson Cooper.

"Every ball was a softball, and in fact, even the other candidates weren't allowed to talk up against her."

And Sanders destroyed his campaign with his comment that voters don't care about Clinton's emails, Trump said, and he believes it all was "orchestrated by the Democratic Party."

"It was a great soundbite for about three minutes — three seconds!" he said. "You know, they clap for about three seconds. When he gave up the emails — he is now just wasting his time."

Wasserman Schultz has vehemently denied backing Clinton, and the DNC Monday accused Trump of making "misogynistic attacks" against her.

"The Republican front-runner's misogynistic attacks are sadly representative of the GOP's outdated approach to women and the issues that affect them and their families," DNC spokeswoman Kaylie Hanson said in a statement to CNN.

"Whether it's trying to get between them and their doctor, opposing equal pay for equal work, or using offensive language, the Republican Party is wrong for women."
