Actor Corey Feldman told The Hollywood Reporter in a Q&A that social media has accentuated the long-standing problem of pedophilia in Hollywood, calling it a "growing problem."

"This is where the entertainment industry is and this is a place where adults have more direct and inappropriate connection with children than probably anywhere else in the world," Feldman told THR.

Feldman, the "Lost Boys" and "Goonies" star, has been open about how he was molested as a young actor. He's on the record as far back as 2011, when Feldman told an ABC News show "that the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was, and is, and always will be, pedophilia."

The No. 1 burning question Feldman says he gets repeatedly is, How come you don't name names?

"I'm not able to name names," Feldman told THR, citing California's statute of limitations. "I would love to name names. … If I were to go and mention anybody's name I would be the one that would be in legal problems and I'm the one that would be sued."

THR asked Feldman if the setting for rape and molestation was correctly depicted in the 2015 child-rape documentary titled "An Open Secret," where kids were groomed in packs, often times at parties held by Hollywood execs.

"That's the networking and that's when you become pals with them. … And the next thing you know they talk to the moms and say, 'Hey, I want to take Corey out to an event … let me pick him up and take him," Feldman told THR. "And they turn that power over right away to the publicist or the photographers."

And that, Feldman said, is how kids ended up in the wrong hands.

"The people that I knew doing (the molesting) were publicists, they were photographers for teen magazines, things like that," Feldman told THR.
