Pressing its months-long push against GOP front-runner Donald Trump, the conservative Club for Growth is launching a $1.5 million ad blitz in Florida ahead of the March 15 primary.

The group's political arm spent almost that much in ads in Oklahoma and Arkansas to thwart the steamrolling success of Trump in those Super Tuesday states.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz claimed victory in Oklahoma, while Trump beat back his challenge in Arkansas.

"Donald Trump's loss last night in Oklahoma and his razor thin margin in Arkansas are due, in no small part, to CFG Action's television ads that tell the truth about Trump," Club for Growth president David McIntosh said in a statement.

The anti-Trump ad debuting Wednesday in the Sunshine State, titled "Trump. He's no tough guy," charges the real estate billionaire is "the most liberal, big-government candidate in the Republican race," and accuses him of "abuse" of eminent domain in a real estate deal, as well as for allegedly hiding "behind bankruptcy laws to avoid paying bills," McIntosh says.

In the ad, a narrator declares that "Donald Trump talks tough about China and Mexico," then asks: "But who has Trump ever actually taken on?"

"Trump picks on workers and widows," the narrator asserts. "He won't do a thing to China and Mexico."

"Trump must be stopped before he costs conservatives the White House, the Senate, and the Supreme Court," McIntosh says in his statement.
