Palin Questions Pakistan's Aid to bin Laden

By    |   Tuesday, 03 May 2011 12:45 PM

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is suspicious just like experts on all sides of the political spectrum – did the Pakistani government provide assistance to Osama bin Laden while he was in hiding in a large compound right under their noses?

“How was the most wanted man in the world" able to hide out "in plain sight?" Palin asked during a charity event for veterans at Colorado Christian University outside Denver, an event reported by The Hill. "Could it be that some of the Pakistani leaders were helping him?"

The White House obviously shares Palin’s suspicions. President Barack Obama's counterterrorism czar John Brennan said Monday that it is “inconceivable” that Pakistan didn’t provide a "support network" for bin Laden.

Palin also questioned how much aid we should be giving to Pakistan, given its reluctance to help us fight terrorism. "We deserve answers to our questions. We should demand answers to our questions," she said.
