Congressional officials say Obama plans to visit the Capitol on Friday. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because the meetings have not been announced.

Obama's fellow Democrats are pushing a healthcare overhaul that remains the president's top domestic priority. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hopes to have legislation on the House floor for a vote on Saturday.
There is no timetable for the healthcare overhaul in the Senate, where the legislation's fate is in considerably more doubt.
