Holistic Medicine Can Cure Diabetes

Diabetes is associated with many complications including amputation, heart attacks, kidney failure, and even cancer. The incidence of Type 2 diabetes has been increasing over the past several years, and is almost certainly associated with the increased obesity problem in the United States and other countries.

The ability to reverse diabetes in a short period of time is therefore a very interesting and worthwhile subject.

A video available at godiabetesfree.com by Dr. David Pearson, M.D., describes his program for curing Type 2 diabetes in two weeks. The book “Diabetes Free” is also available.

Pearson also offers three additional free programs. One is for resolving foot problems in diabetes sufferers; another is about 27 low sugar desserts; and the last is entitled “Breathe Into a New Life.”

Pearson indicates that he has had excellent results in more than 20,000 patients treated with this program, and that it does control and even stop diabetes Type 2. That means no further need for blood monitoring, injections, or visits to the doctor

Pearson’s program is another example of the value of holistic medicine. The insulin and medications that are usually prescribed to control diabetes symptoms may well do so. But they do not cure the underlying problem. Therefore, they do not cure the disease so much as managing it.

And the need for a cure is all too evident. Along with increased incidence of diabetes in this country, there is significant cost: The medications and instruments used to monitor diabetes are a $215 billion dollar a year business.

But the possibility of curing Type 2 diabetes with a diet program is already causing problems with the pharmaceutical industry — considering the amount of money they have made from treatment of diabetes. But it’s clear to me that holistic approaches like Pearson’s hold the only hope we have of actually curing, and finally eliminating this terrible disease.
