Can Certain Foods Prevent Asthma Attacks?

Thursday, 18 Jul 2013 05:00 PM

Question: is there any food or fruit that can be taking to prevent recurring asthma attacks?

Dr. Hibberd’s answer:
No food or fruit can reliably prevent recurrent asthma. Asthma is a condition caused by an increased sensitivity of the airways to pollen, smoke, infection, volatiles, and other allergens.

The best way to manage asthma is to avoid chemical additives, preservatives, foods, and plants known to trigger attacks.
