Fight Lupus With Fish Oil

Question: My friend is 69 and has lupus. She is having difficulty walking. Is there anything she can do or take to improve her condition?

Dr. Blaylock's Answer:

I have found that omega-3 oils with a high balance of EPA to DHA work best for lupus. Carlson liquid fish oil (it has a lemony taste) is the best brand that I have come across.

People with chronic inflammation from autoimmune disorders have very low magnesium levels, so I recommend magnesium citrate/malate in a dose of 500 mg twice a day to reduce inflammation and help prevent neurological damage.

Curcumin, quercetin, white tea, grape seed extract, NAC, and jatoba extract also reduce inflammation and cool immune system overreaction. Jatoba liquid can be taken in a dose of 10 drops in 4 ounces of water three times a day. Hawthorn also reduces the immune reactions of lupus.
